About Time

Directed by: Richard Curtis
Released on: 4th September 2013
Certificate: 12a
Richard Curtis returns with this uplifting romantic comedy starring Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson. When Tim (Gleeson) turns 21 and discovers time travels runs in the family, he decides to use it to his advantage and get himself a girlfriend. But as we all know, time travel is never that simple.
With the go-to-guy for British rom-com at the helm, About Time looks to be a charming and heart warming way to spend a couple of hours in the cinema. Richard Curtis’ return has been welcomed by critics, sending this latest offering down the same fame route as Four Weddings and A Funeral, and The Boat That Rocked. Time will tell if it’s as popular, let’s face it, that’s a pretty big legacy to follow but hey there’s romance, there’s comedy, there’s time travel… what’s not to like?
