My Review: Grave of the Fireflies

My Undiscovered Country

Shortly after exams all wrapped up and with some free time to spare before starting summer school, I thought I’d catch up on my social calendar and go to an old high school friend’s house to watch some movies. Before leaving, I grabbed a few Studio Ghibli anime movies to watch. One of them was “Grave of the Fireflies” which I hadn’t watched before so after reading through the synopsis, I thought I’d give it a go in case my friend hadn’t seen it either. And wow! Long story short, said movie left a lasting impact, so much so that I had to write up a review for it. This is is my first time reviewing an actual movie for this blog so let’s see how this goes.
